The annual Walk the Wight takes place on 18 May, including the first ever Flat Walk.

Organised by (and in aid of) the Isle of Wight’s Earl Mountbatten Hospice, last year the event raised over £217,000. Seven thousand people pre-registered for this year’s walk between Bembridge and Alum Bay. It covers a distance of 26.5 miles.  Read more at walkthewight.org.uk.
