Situated in Lugley Street on the site of the old cinema, lately a store for Courts Furnishing, will be the Island’s first Travelodge.
This new hotel is due to open in the latter part of June. It’s a 64-room hotel with an onsite Bar Café and its room rates start from just £15.00 per night.
Newport, Isle of Wight Travelodge will offer a choice of either Family, Double or Disabled rooms. Each room provides a comfortable setting with en-suite bathroom, luxury king size bed, colour TV and free tea and coffee making facilities.
There are 316 travelodges altogether at the moment with a number being built at this time.

Enter Newport on the A3054. At Coppins Bridge roundabout take the 4th exit onto East Street - B3323(signposted town centre) At mini roundabout bear right onto South Street -B3323. Bear left onto St James Street. Turn left into Lugely Street where you will find the Travelodge.
