A Totland Community Trust is being set up, to which the lease of the church halls' site can be passed for redevelopment. This will take some time, and in the meantime the companions of St.
Martin's are moving out of Weston Manor. Their new Day Unit will be in the Old Parish Room (until recently the Scout Hut).
This needs a lot of modernization, and has to meet new disability
requirements, so there should be a lot of work going on there during the summer.
If you would like your voice to be heard on the future of Totland
- houses, schools, the environment, transport, services,
anything - then see John Holsburt's article and join him at his
next meeting.
Christ Church Summer Fair will be on the Recreation Ground
on Saturday July 1st. Any Totland club or organisation that
would like to join in and promote its activites, and raise funds
for themselves as well, would be more than welcome. Give me
