Snow Patrol are set to make their third appearance at the Isle of Wight Festival. The Celtic 5 piece act, who have had huge success with their albums Final Straw and Eyes Open, will be bringing their popular indie rock back to Seaclose Park this June.
The news was broken by lead singer Gary Lightbody on the Zane Lowe show on Radio One, and – although yet to be officially confirmed by festival organisers – means the band are set to be the first addition to the line up for 2007.
The band debuted at the festival in 2004, and their crowd-pleasing hits and favourable reception meant they returned the following year. Best known for hits such as “Run”, “Spitting Games” and recent anthem “Chasing Cars”, Snow Patrol are set to wow fans on the Island all over again this summer.
