A nine-day programme of events, both indoors and out around
Ryde, is being lined up for the town’s annual Arts Festival in July.
Now in its sixth year, the festival – which this year runs from July
7th-15th kicks off with a bumper weekend of activities including
the sensational Let’s Celebrate themed Arts Festival Parade,
three days of music on a seafront stage, plus an arts and craft
market.
Live music fans are in for a treat with the Friday evening (July 7th) line up of young Island bands, carnival infl uenced music with MC Coco P from 12pm on Saturday (plus parade prize giving around 4pm), and a jazz programme from 12pm on Sunday.
During the rest of the week festival-goers can look forward to
exhibitions, hands-on craft sessions, concerts and activities
including a story walk, Hidden Ryde photographic exhibition and a Young Pavement Artists competition.
