A new website offering free advice to both aspiring and professional radio broadcasters has been launched from the Isle of Wight. The site allows radio hopefuls to upload there radio demo tapes and other work for critique from fellow members. Free downloads, gossip and classic audio is also available, including much from the early days of Isle of Wight Radio.
Founder Jean-Paul Hansford said, “It took me more than 10 years to get my first break into radio and I remember the frustration I felt at the lack of help I received. I had to leave the Island to gain my own experience, but now I’m back I’d like this interactive website to become a place anyone interested in great radio will visit.”
