QUEEN OF SANDOWN REGATTA IS CROWNED
The Queen of Sandown Bay Regatta has been crowned, at the town’s Comical pub. Anglea Fairbank will follow in the footsteps of Miss Sandown Bay 2005 Shanee Brown (pictured). Saturday’s event, complete with barbecue and raffle, attracted some high quality entrants… but those with beards and short hair cuts were disqualified, on technical grounds. The weather was bad, but organisers say a good time was had by all and they are thanking those who took part.
