ORGANISERS HOPE FOR AN HISTORIC CARNIVAL
Sandown’s annual carnival procession takes to the streets, on Wednesday night. Hot on the wheels of Tuesday’s children’s carnival, the floats will roll through the seaside town from 7pm. This year’s event is themed “ancient civilisations” and gets underway at Culver Parade. Revellers will be handed some 1500 whistles, to help them get involved.
