MUSIC PERFORMANCE AT SANDOWN PROMISES TRADITIONAL BRITISH SEASIDE
A “surreal surprising performance” is promised in Sandown on Saturday, when a marching band, jellied eels and sandcastles reach Eastern Gardens. Part of a national tour called Beach Singularity, it is said to be “a celebration of the British seaside”. Composed in 1977 by Trevor Wishart, Beach Singularity is a music performance with a difference and it will be accompanied by beach games and painting. It takes place between 11am and 4pm.
