New road signs are being put up in a bid to cut the number of traffic accidents on the Isle of Wight. The reactive signs will flash when drivers are travelling too fast. Eleven will be installed across the Island, in November. They'll appear at Embankment Road, Bembridge; Clatterford Road and Gunville Road in Carisbrooke; Tuttons Hill in Gurnard; Havenstreet Main Road; Calthorpes Road/Nettlestone Hill in Nettlestone; Alverstone Road in Winford; Whitwell's Ventnor Road; Culver Parade and Esplanade in Sandown; Shanklin's Whitecross Lane; Station Road and Carpenters Road in St Helens and Wroxall High Street.
