EXTREME SPORTS AT WIGHT AIR FESTIVAL
Olympic medal winner Colin Jackson (PICTURED), just days after visiting Cowes Week 2007, will return to the Isle of Wight for Wight Air. Cricketer Phil Tufnell will also be dropping in at Yaverland’s annual extreme sports festival, which starts on Bank Holiday Monday. Event organisers are estimating around 2000 people will take part in the event. They will include windsurfers, jet-skiers, mountain boarders, paragliders and kitesurfers. For the first time this year there’s also a full music line-up and among the bands taking to the stage are The Bees.
