CHILDREN AMAZED ON DAY OUT IN NITON
Children from Niton Primary School have ended the term with a lesson in problem solving and maths, but according to their teachers, all 99 of them had fun. Far from sitting in a classroom they visited the DINOMaze, set in 7 acres field, off the A3055 Blackgang Road. Designed by a world-renowned maze expert and shaped like a tyrannosaurus rex, it is in a field owned by Niton Manor Farm and has been grown out of a cereal crop. The Niton children were among the first to see it and Maze Manager Neil Simmons said, "It was such a huge pleasure for me to see so many children racing around...it's what summer holidays should be all about." At the end of the season, the maize will be fed to the farm’s herd of cattle but for now it is open to visitors of all ages. See it for yourself at www.nitonmaze.co.uk.
