ALL WIGHT ON CHILDERN IN NEED NIGHT
The Isle of Wight’s Wight Satin Ladies’ Barbershop Chorus have played a starring role in the BBC’s Children In Need fundraising event. The group travelled to Milestones Museum in Basingstoke to sing their specially written song Pudsey Bear, on Friday. Chorus director Nick Frampton was interviewed by BBC South’s Georgie Palmer. The group has raised more than £2000 for the charity and has been fundraising for Children In Need since July. Efforts have included touring the Island in a vintage bus and singing on Wightlink Ferries and at Gunwharf Quays.
