A GHOSTLY GOOD WAY TO SPEND HALF TERM!
Halloween is almost upon us! Half-term on the Isle of Wight is packed with ghouls, ghosts and creepy monsters….
Appuldurcombe House has daily events, from 22 October.
There are ghostly goings-on at Blackgang Chine, on 25 and 26 October.
Mottistone Manor Garden holds a family day on 25 October.
A special Newport Ghost Walk is being held on 24 October (contact 520695 for details).
The Isle of Wight Steam Railway at Havenstreet (pictured) has haunted walks, on 26 and 27 October and it is Harry Potter Wizard Week, from 22 October with magic shows, steam train rides and visits to a bat hospital.
Sandown’s Isle of Wight Zoo’s hosting ghost walks on 31 October.
There are tails of a brutal murder at Arreton Manor, between 29 and 31 October.
Ventnor’s Botanic Gardens, on the site of the former Royal National Hospital, has haunting tales between 26 and 28 October.
