It’s time to say goodbye and thanks for all the hard work to Yarmouth’s Deputy Harbour Master and Maintenance Operator.
Bryn Bird and John Doe have managed 42 years of service between them. Bryn’s career saw him move from Swing Bridge Operator, to Berthing Master, Senior Berthing Master and even Harbour Master. John was presented to the Duke of Edinburgh in August 2008, during a royal visit to Yarmouth’s newly refurbished pier.
