Music

The Isle of Wight Festival is one of the biggest things on the Isle of Wight Music scene at the moment, with a string of ever more successful festival events with stunning musical lineups. But is that all the Isle of Wight can offer?

Platform One

Platform One music college on the Isle of Wight has been instrumental (no pun intended) in bringing several young, dynamic musicians into the local music scene. Helping with different aspects of getting up and running from music studios, instrument hire, transport, event planning and an extensive and helpful music community.

Isle of Wight Festival History

At the height of the flower-power era, hundreds of thousands of music fans came from all over the world to chill out in the fields of the Isle of Wight.

They packed onto the Isle of Wight ferry from the mainland for up to five days (although some stayed considerably longer) of live rock, communal living, free love and mind-bending substances.

Besides all the peace, love and latrines, there was the music - non-stop performances from some of the greatest pop musicians of any era.
