Information Board Highlights Local Wildlife

On one of the warmest October days on record, celebrations were held to mark the opening of a new information board highlighting the wildlife corridor between Freshwater Bay and Yarmouth. The initial idea developed within the Freshwater Village Association Wildlife Group, who then applied to the West Wight Landscape Partnership for a lottery assisted grant. Special thanks were given at the opening to both organisations, and the Seahorses/Lantern Retreat Charity for permission to place the board on their land.
