Lifeboat Lotto Birthday Celebrated

12 Months after the first draw was made live on IW Radio, the three independent lifeboat stations are extremely pleased to announce that the Independent Lifeboat Lotto has - in its first year - made £36,000 for the units based at Ryde, Freshwater and Sandown.

Thanks to the support and generosity of Islanders the lifeboat stations now have a steady, increasing amount that they receive every four weeks, helping with operational running costs and larger items of equipment that need to be purchased.

A Birthday cake was cut at the Ryde Inshore Rescue HQ in May

The lotto costs just over £8 a month.
