- Two of the headliners for the Isle of Wight Festival 2007 were announced on Monday. Snow Patrol, the biggest selling band of 2006, will return once again to Seaclose park to top Friday’s bill, while Brit Award winners Muse will take to the stage in Saturday’s headline slot.

Highway Improvements in Carisbrooke
- Traffic volume, vehicle speeds, “rat running” and road safety were just a few of the highway issues identified by Carisbrooke Park Estate residents during a recent public consultation exercise.
